As Vice President and Principal of PEG, LLC, Joshua Spence brings over 15 years of hands-on experience and leadership to the organization. Having worked his way through nearly every technical level of the company – from Field Engineer to Senior Field Engineer, Area Manager, and Operations Manager – he offers a deep understanding of the operational and strategic needs that drive PEG’s success.
He has personally conducted over 10,000 HERS ratings and continues to lead quality assurance inspections and training seminars across more than 17 states. Under his guidance, PEG performs over 20,000 annual inspections and analyses across residential, multifamily, commercial, institutional, and historically significant buildings.
Joshua holds a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and is certified across a wide range of technical disciplines, including Building Science, HVAC Design and Installation, Building Information and Energy Modeling, ASHRAE Energy Auditing, Thermography, Structural Inspection, Acoustical Testing, Building Envelope Inspection, HVAC TAB and Commissioning, Concrete Inspection & Testing, and Indoor Air Quality. He is a RESNET-accredited HERS Rater, Quality Assurance Designee, and Trainer; a BPI Building Analyst and Quality Control Inspector; a licensed general contractor; and a certified Home Innovations NGBS Verifier.
